Thimphu Tshechu is one of the most popular festivals celebrated in the capital city for three days starting on 10th day of the 8th month of lunar calendar. This Tshechu is one of the biggest festivals celebrated in the country and is attended by thousands of people from the neighboring Dzongkhags (districts). It was initiated by the 4th Desi, Gyalse Tenzin Rabgay in 1867. This years the festival will be celebrated from 11th to 13th October 2016. Come join us celebrate.

For children below 5 years – only visa fee of USD 40 is applicable.
For children between 5 – 12 years – 50% discount on the daily tariff is applicable.
For students below 25 years holding valid identity cards from their academic institutions, 25% discount on the minimum daily tariff is applicable.
